Example of setting up a port-forward to a non standard port (draft)
port = 8443 TCP to a internal host
firewall internet/local access from anywhere
- login as localadmin
- click cog top right
- click admin
- click securty tab
- click left tab Services and then add
- Add Service Name “8443”
- add Max Port “8443”
- Protocol TCP
- click on append, then ok
- Click on Port-forward Targets
- Click on add a new port-forward
- add name “8443”
- add Target Ip address 10.0.0.x
- tick Show advanced option and click ok
- click on drop down Forwarding Firewall service “8443”
- Click ok, ok
- Click on Firewall Overview
- click on internet/local
- tick Show Advanced option, and click ok
- click on to Service drop-down and select “8443” and click on add
- click on new rule drop-down and select forward: 8443
- click on ok
